How to Tell You’ve got a TGF:
After a good round of TF2, your TGF and you have a telephone conversation about it. He remarks that your skills as a Sniper have improved a lot since you last played together. He tells you that he’s interested in your strategies and would like to know some of your tricks so that he can learn to play the position better. So you tell him.
The next night he logs into the same server that you are on and chooses to play on the opposite side. You don’t ever see him, but you die repeatedly by his hand. You are being PWNED by him because he knows where all of your secret hiding spots are thanks to your conversation the previous night.
He never really wanted to get better at being a Sniper in the first place. It seems he just wanted to boost his stats by blowing up the side of your face with a rocket launcher - after claiming that stats are stupid!

Hrm. Let me guess… you’re talking about Adam.
I got a message that you were playing TF2 this morning at 8:19. I’m pretty sure that means you’re addicted.
I’ve never seen a message about you playing anything. I’m pretty sure that means you’re wasting your games and should give them to poor children who want to play TF2 with me at 8:19 in the morning.
I got a message that said Reay is too busy for video games because he’s a grown-up now.
If it’s any consolation, I’m pretty sure I caught your “friend” using one of your sniper strategies last night. The hole in my head told me so.
