I’m sure there’s a long and complicated explanation but the way I’ve been able to figure it’s Management’s way of forcing someone to check the theatre periodically to make sure people aren’t making too much of a mess, talking too loud, the A/C is gone haywire or having sex in the back seats or… I don’t know why I just typed that. one time we did catch someone ‘engaged’ it’s not like we stopped them, we talked about it and went on with our business. Yeah anyway that’s why the button is all the way in the front of the theatre so we don’t just poke our heads in. It’s the most inane and boring task to be assigned even more so because you’ll be doing it all night. :shudder:

well for the record I used to work in a theatre in the states and we had kids there I don’t think anyone ever actually cared what movie was playing. The only age restriction was when we threw garbage in the compactor only the 18+ people could do it. Not that you have time to watch anything while you’re working. The only person who even enters while it’s playing is the guy who has to walk around and push a button near the screen at every single room one by one over and over and over again until your shift is over.
