DJ HERO CONTEST
You Could Win A DJ Hero Demo Kit

Ever since we first laid eyes on DJ Hero in-person at X’09 this year, we were in love. The game brings a much-needed fresh new play style to the music genre and is full of amazing mixes. A week after first playing it, we got to spend even more time with it at Sony’s PlayStation Holiday Preview Event, and we started loving it more.
But let’s cut to the chase: We have three DJ Hero Demo Kits (Xbox 360 version only), courtesy of Activision. They include a demo disc for the game, a wired turntable controller, and a few leaflets including an overview on how the game is played.
Want to win one? Here’s what you have to do:
- Send an email to torontothumbs@gmail.com
- Make sure your subject line is "I’m a DJ Hero"
- Include your mailing address
- Attach a photo of yourself doing your best DJ Pose or Face – bonus points if you actually are DJing and if you are spinning some cool records (note that these bonus points will not actually help you win)
- Do this before November 15, 2009, because that’s when we’re choosing our winners, at random
Additional details:
- By entering the contest you give Toronto Thumbs the right to use your photo to help promote this contest, so make sure your photo is really cool or you’ll look like a goof. If you have no problem looking like a goof, we might actually have a job for you at some point in the near future
- These Demo Kits are NOT the full retail version of the game
- These Demo Kits are compatible with Xbox 360 only
- Due to the weight of these DJ Hero Demo Kits we are unfortunately unable to ship them outside of Canada. This sucks, we know. If you live in the States and think this is unfair, don’t worry. You get to watch The Venture Bros. well before us Canadians do
- Prizing will be shipped and recipients will receive a tracking number. This said, Toronto Thumbs is not responsible for lost, stolen, or misdirected mail
- Local winners will have the option of arranging a pick-up
- FURTHER CLARIFICATION: Winners will be picked at random
For fun, here are some more photos of the prizes:

I’m entering.
Toronto Thumbs is awesome, and this is why.
If I could enter, I would totally use this photo of me:

I’ve got to do this. I *have* to. I’ll get myself spinning some discs if it takes me all night!
I can’t enter :(, but good luck to everyone who can.
