Rabbids Go Home Cartoon Series Premieres

Ubisoft’s Rabbids Go Home five-part cartoon series premiered on YouTube today. The cartoon depicts the Rabbids and their world (and the characters in it) in cute, simplistic two-dimensional form and chronicles the Rabbids’ attempts at returning home after conquering Earth. It’s great to see these characters maintain their visual appeal when rendered in different art styles. The Rabbids have somehow become cuter, more annoying, and more lovable with each appearance since their debut. This video series is no exception.

This isn’t the first time Ubisoft has used original content to promote an upcoming game. Just recently the software giant released the excellent three-part Assassin’s Creed Lineage, a mix of live-action and CG elements, to promote the launch of Assassin’s Creed II.

Rabbids Go Home, meanwhile, was also recently promoted in an excellent marketing stunt with French automaker Renault. In addition to this, the Rabbids are also getting the comic treatment via the brand-new Rabbids Comic Blog, which promises to chronicle two failed Rabbids’ attempts at getting home each week.

I’d like to see a Rabbids game done in this style.

    Agreed!

  4. The Rabbids are awesome, but also scary.

Rabbids are scary, yet underwear-clad rabbids adorn the header of this website. Discuss.
