Serious Sam HD: The First Encounter is now available for PC via Steam for $19.99. This remake of a nearly decade-old game has received a visual overhaul complete with new character models, textures, and, as the title implies, HD resolution.
The game puts players in shoes of Sam “Serious” Stone, who is battling the enemy Mental in ancient Egypt. Sam’s seriousness comes in the form of his arsenal, which he uses to blow things up real good. I’m going to play this right now.
Serious Sam HD will also be available on Xbox LIVE this December.
