I previously ran an ethernet cable, but the setup of my new place is not conducive to 50 feet of cable running across the floor. $99 is just too damn pricey for something which I know for a fact has $30 tops of parts in it. $79 is still a little pricey, but it's nice to know that their is actually a third party alternative.
