This is just a test post in the Game Bar.

  3. Posted on Oct 25, 2008

Here’s another test post to the Game Bar section. It’s Toronto Thumbs game day over at Jorge’s place. He just sent me a text message to my land line, and somehow I got it still. A friendly robot read the message to me. I love technology!

Not sure if we’ll be able to make it to Jorge’s, hoping to be in the throes of packing by that point as we will be.
But the lure of friends, video games, and samosas may prove to be too much to bear.

  5. Posted on Oct 25, 2008

It would be a good way to see some new Wii games you maybe heard about on this here site. I hope you can make it but if not, no worries. We’ll be sure to have another one soon.

  6. I brought pop.

  7. Posted on Oct 25, 2008

And so you did! You also missed some Naruto fighting action. You would have won all the battles for sure.

  8. Hahaha.
    No he wouldn’t.

  9. Aww SNAP! Next time Jorge, next time.

  10. Oh, I’ll be waiting, Bugsy.

    I’ll be waiting…

  11. Posted on Oct 27, 2008

I hope you don’t mind waiting a LONG time. Bugsy spotting these days is a bit of a challenge.

  12. I know. I keep reading about him in the Enquirer and Star, but I have yet to see Bugsy.

  13. Posted on Oct 29, 2008

Is that a fact? Have you actually never met the man, the legend that is Bugsy?

  14. “Has anyone ever really met Bugsy?” is actually the better question.

  15. What is a Bugsy?

  16. What is?

  17. What?

Yes nothing rings Remembrance Day in like some good ol’ fashioned nazi killing… They really couldnt have chosen a better day :-|

  22. Posted on Nov 11, 2008

Apparently we’ve got Nazi Zombies to deal with now. It’s a novel idea but yeah the release date is a little too perfect. I mean, ideally Hitler’s birthday would have been the best possible release date.

Gotten any play time with Mirror’s Edge yet Shaun? will we be getting a review of that soon?

  24. Posted on Nov 13, 2008

We have a bunch of reviews to get through before we can tackle Mirror’s Edge. It doesn’t look like we’ll be getting a review copy of it so we may have to – gasp! – buy it!

Both Michael and I played it at the Sony Holiday Event and it is all kinds of awesome.

  25. Shaun needs to lay some plastic down around his living room before he plays Mirror’s Edge.

  26. Posted on Nov 19, 2008

Actually Jamie’s got this review covered.

  27. Hopefully Jamie made with the plastic.

  28. Posted on Nov 21, 2008

Hey guys I need to ask an opinion.

A woman my mom works with is looking for a hand held console for her 3 year old. I guess the little girl always wants to play with the DS but it’s a little too complicated for her.
And the woman wants the girl to stay fairly interested in it for a few years. So I was thinking of either something inexpensive that the parents won’t mind if the girl loses interest or something that she will actually stay interested in for a few years but isn’t too complicated for her to pick up.

I’m the youngest child, so no younger siblings and with no nieces or nephews yet I’m kind of in the dark.

    Any help?

  29. Hey Chrissy,

Do you have a Mastermind store near you? I think there are handheld “consoles” by Leapfrog and similar companies.

  30. Posted on Nov 21, 2008

Yeah I was thinking a leapfrog might be the best thing.
Or a leapster because she said it doens’t necessarily need to be educational and it looks a little more like a game than a keyboard.

    Thanks Jorge

  31. Posted on Nov 21, 2008

Yeah I’d also recommend a Leapfrog device, mostly because they’re easy to use, but also because they’re educational. The best toy for tots, however, is a set of learning books :)

I got to play Mirror’s Edge finally… its very stylised to be sure, in my opinion something everyone should try atleast once. I loved the experience and could spend loads of time playing through the story and going and trying to get all the hidden packages. Thumbs up for me :)

  35. Posted on Nov 22, 2008

Cool, man! I think I’ll probably pick it up in about a year… once I’ve finished all the games I’m currently playing, that is.

  36. By Alex
    Posted on Nov 22, 2008

Haha the abundance of quality titles is overwhelming, the next one to check off on my to play list will be Far Cry 2.

  37. Posted on Nov 25, 2008

Far Cry 2 – you need a far cry less plastic sheeting to play this one.

    Posted on Nov 25, 2008

Just got to play around with the game PAIN offered up on PSN…. Incredible!! its 10$ for the game, only downside is alot of the other content offered up you have to pay for like extra characters (David Hasselhoff) or new levels. Still worth it though :)

  39. They should be paying YOU for give you David Hasselhoff.

In other news, GNT EX3 shipped this morning. WOOO!

  40. By Alex
    Posted on Nov 27, 2008

I thought he was being offered for free, but it turns out he’s like 1.12$… I mean who wouldnt want to launch the hoff man face first into a wall.

  41. Posted on Nov 27, 2008

Doesn’t the Hoff do that to himself on a daily basis anyway?

  42. By Alex
    Posted on Nov 27, 2008

    This is true.

  43. Posted on Nov 28, 2008

I’m playing Puyo Pop Fever for the PSP and Skies of Arcadia on Gamecube right now, super sweet!

My only complaint for Puyo Pop is how supportive the players are of one another. So even when I’m losing miserably my character is shouting out “good one!” to the com player who is defeating us.

  44. Posted on Dec 4, 2008

That’s funny. I suppose it’s meant for younger players, then.

  45. Posted on Dec 9, 2008

Could be, but it results in me yelling and swearing at my psp and my roommates knocking on my door asking if I’m ok haha.

  46. Posted on Dec 9, 2008

So how do you explain the situation to them? Are they also gamers?

  47. Posted on Dec 10, 2008

Hahaha yeah they also play games, they just laugh at me.
I guess it is a funny situation that I get so angry.

  48. Posted on Dec 10, 2008

Wow I also just posted that as someone else :) oops!

  49. By North Nathan
    Posted on Dec 10, 2008

My PS3 bores me to tears..

Why can’t WOW be added to a console?

Where is a final fantasy ? I’ll take a Lands of Lore 2009 edition if ever made.. .. PS3=no games.

  50. By Alex
    Posted on Dec 10, 2008

I take it you’ve already played or have no interest in Little Big Planet, Resistance 2, EndWar, COD: World at War, MGS4, Gran Turismo: Prologue, Folklore. I think there is a way to get WoW running on it, although I’d imagine it requires some tinkering around with things, although dont quote me on that, a friend of mine had said something about having WoW run on his PS3.

  51. Posted on Dec 10, 2008

A game like WoW has been on PC for so long, runs so well on it, and has such a huge community following. I don’t believe a console port of that game would be a good thing.

If I played Wow, I would be more interested in the developers using their time to make expansions to the game rather than making a version of it for console. And then there’s the whole compatibility issue – would console players get to play with their PC friends? If you think about it that way, it’s all good.

PS3 has a very large amount of quality games out, especially now. Check into any of the titles reviewed here or the ones Alex mentioned before writing it off.

  52. By Jamie Love
    Posted on Dec 12, 2008

You’ll definitely be hearing about a lot more PS3 titles, and back coverage for Folklore, MGS4, and LittleBigPlanet from me. Check out the previews for White Knight Chronicles and find out why Level 5 is the new Square Soft.

  53. North Nathan.
If you’re bored with your PS3, I’ll take it off your hands for the low, low price of FREE.

I totally want one just so I can play Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm.

    ;)

  54. By Alex
    Posted on Dec 12, 2008

I’ve apperently all together missed the appeal of Naruto :-/

  55. Posted on Dec 15, 2008

I don’t know who else caught the Spike VGA’s last night but they were just awful!

And apparently the only games that came out this year were Call of Duty: World at war, Gears of War 2, Fallout 3, and GTA 4…

  56. By Alex
    Posted on Dec 15, 2008

It’s pretty much been like that since it debuted a few years back, the show is just unbearable to watch, I caught the “Best Shooter” award which was naturally Gears of War 2 and them giving the awards to Cliffy B and that other dude and then I said “The hell with this” and watched Seven and A Scanner Darkly.

  57. Posted on Dec 16, 2008

Hahahaha much better viewing choices Alex, and it really was unbearable to watch.

I was flipping back and forth the whole time. Not to mention Jack Black did so little hosting, why didn’t they just give it to Geoff Keighley. Oh well…

I was glad to see Little Big Planet at least take home a few awards. Although Metal Gear Solid 4 did not get any of the recognition that it deserves.

  58. I don’t really understand the point of award shows. You’d think that it would be pretty obvious by the numbers who won. It’s smaller websites with heart that bring attention to those titles missed at these things.

  59. I think we need to start “paging” this section. Get on it boss man!

  60. Posted on Dec 20, 2008

Not a bad idea Bugsy. The funny thing is you’ve got more programming experience than me! Anyhow I believe I’ve figured SOMETHING out here. We’ll fuss with the design of the pagination for years to come, I’m sure of it.

  61. Posted on Dec 20, 2008

So what’s on everyone’s wish lists this year?

  62. By Alex
    Posted on Dec 20, 2008

PS3, 360, Wii, PSP, Laptop, Heelys, a Delorean(yes I want to go back in time!), and a mountain of games for said consoles. And that should be it for me!

  63. Posted on Dec 21, 2008

I actually wanted Heelys too at some point but realized a 30-year-old dude in Heelys would likely be the least cool thing ever. Also, I’d probably crack my skull open on those so I’ll stick to my Dominion skateboard.

  64. Posted on Dec 21, 2008

Oh and I could go either way with a pair of Heelys or a pair of SOAP shoes… And I could totally ask for more, like a penquin or pandora’s box or something like that, but I figured I would keep it short :D

  71. Posted on Dec 23, 2008

Hey Alex – Yes it’s been sent out last week. I hope it arrives for you this week! YOU NEED TO BE PREPARED!

I wonder if the Mississauga mail strike thing messed up delivery for you. I know a few people haven’t received Christmas cards yet because of it. Hang in there!

  72. By Alex

Haha I ended up getting it yesterday, fancy that…its a nifty little item im glad to have :)

    P.S Merry Christmas everyone!

  74. By Alex
    Posted on Dec 27, 2008

Haha I saw Space Invaders Extreme at EB today, and I alomst considered getting it myself but I passed and decided to go with The World Ends With You and I got puzzle Quest from Walmart for 20$….Almost picked up Yakuza and Bloodrayne 2(its a harder game to get ahold of, or atleast the first one is) But neither had the manuals which was a bummer, oh well!.

…Let me know if anyone knows where I can get a copy of Tomba 1 or 2 =)

  75. Posted on Dec 30, 2008

I’ll keep an eye out for you. I’ve only seen The World Ends With You in stores once before but have heard some pretty good things about it. If I didn’t spend all my Christmas money on other DS games, I’d consider picking it up right after a copy of Contra 4.

  76. By Alex
    Posted on Dec 30, 2008

Yea I just recently started getting back into playing my DS with those 2 new games and COD: World at War and Personal Trainer: Cooking being shipped to me through out january…I have lots to keep me busy!

Is EGM actually stopping the magazine? or just the fact that over the past 2 or 3 years the magazine has been severly lacking…I too remember the good ol days when those magazine were hefty buggers, filled with gaming bliss.

  79. Posted on Jan 6, 2009

It looks like 1up.com will still be around with the print publication EGM being discontinued. I don’t think it’s a bad thing. Print magazines are a different beast altogether. With online appetite for news being more insatiable, print mags have had to rely on feature-length articles and exclusives to stay competitive.

The last EGM I read was the one with the exclusive look at the upcoming Watchmen game. That article was great but the rest was nothing better than what online readers get from 1up.com. If it saves paper, I’m for it.

  80. By Alex
    Posted on Jan 7, 2009

Yea I suppose you’re right, it saves tree’s…But I’ll never forget the hay day, I still have a box full of old EGM’s. Last issue I picked up and read the main article was on Mirror’s Edge, and it was a good article but I too was just very unsatisfied with the rest of the magazine. R.I.P EGM.

  81. Posted on Jan 8, 2009

Everymorning I sit down with my tea and do my internet surfing to see what has been going on over night.

Toronto Thumbs has become the first site I check in the morning, and mornings like this are my favorite! Where I check in and have a couple new articles to read. Sweet! Thanks for making my morning.

  82. By Alex
    Posted on Jan 8, 2009

I’m in that boat too, its the first site I check when I jump online… And it truly does rock when there’s like 2 or 3 new articles to read.

  83. Posted on Jan 8, 2009

Thanks, Chrissy and Alex! It’s a good feeling to know that people appreciate the work we put into the site.

  84. Posted on Jan 10, 2009

Has anyone else noticed the complete lack of game availability on store shelves?
I really hope that the stores are still clearing out their inventory before they restock after the holidays.

  85. Posted on Jan 11, 2009

I have noticed this, and it’s very disturbing to me. Stores still look like they were picked over by locusts in search of the best holiday/Boxing Day deals. So many games are in short supply, not that I should be buying any more after getting so many recently!

  86. Posted on Jan 13, 2009

Well I shouldn’t really be buying any either, but I still like looking. I’m actually looking to pick up Beyond Good and Evil, it’s 15 bucks for the red label PS2 version but now I haven’t seen it.

Also! I just started playing The World Ends With You, and it is so amazingly good!

  87. Posted on Jan 13, 2009

Beyond Good and Evil for PS2 is at most HMVs I’ve been to recently, unless they have also been cleaned out. Funny thing is that HMV tends to have games that aren’t in stock elsewhere. I guess people don’t know to go there for games.

  88. Posted on Jan 14, 2009

Thanks Shaun I’ll go check it out!
I have had some luck with HMV myself, that’s where I found PuyoPop Fever for the psp, which I didn’t even know existed until I saw it on their shelves.
Mind you that was in Toronto so I don’t know how much luck I’ll have here in local malls.

The only problem I find at HMV is that sometimes they have some of their titles overpriced. But I guess… you win some, you lose some.

  89. By Alex
    Posted on Jan 15, 2009

I’m right there with you chrissy, I still love looking, even though I have like 10 games on the go currently, there’s some you just cant pass up on because there dirt cheap now. I’m looking for Voodoo Vince, Conker: Live and Reloaded, Bloodrayne 1 and 2(found 2 for 4 bucks but passed on it because it had no manual, im very picky) and im also considering picking up Deathrow one of these days. Also Beyond Good and Evil is a wicked little game, its a very pleasant gaming experience =)

  90. By Reay
    Posted on Jan 15, 2009

I’ve mainly been looking for DS and a couple of Wii games lately, and (not too surprisingly) there doesn’t seem to be any lack of those, though it is pretty hit and miss about what chain stores will stock what titles.
An EB Games I hadn’t been to before had Professor Layton on the demo DS – the first one I’d seen in any of the numerous game-carrying stores I’ve been to over the last few weeks – but they didn’t have any in stock.
    Damn tease!

  99. Posted on Feb 15, 2009

Street Fighter IV in two days. Who’s getting this? I have a Best Buy gift card with SFIV written all over it.

  100. How did you get a gift card like that? Did you draw on it?

  101. Posted on Feb 20, 2009

Alright so I knew about Sonic’s Ultimate Genesis Collection (also an epic title) but I hadn’t actually looked into what games it included.

So today I was walking through the store saw it and was like oh yeah, and it’s really decently priced! Pick it up and I have a rush of childhood memories come flooding back to me. The ‘Streets of Rage’ series was always my favorite and I’m pretty sure that game is going to be coming home in the near future!

Although… Someone is hoarding all the systems on which I could play it!

  103. Posted on Mar 2, 2009

I’m interested in seeing how it turns out, but I’ve never been a fan of the GTA series.

Never checked out B.C. before but I’ll have to now. Why do you miss it? Did you lose your copy?

It was never made, they cancelled it in 05….it was being made by Lionhead studios of Fable fame and it was looking very promising. Just wanted to see if there was anyone else who remembered it. You’ll find lots of screens and possibly video of it but thats all you’ll find.

  106. How committed am I to getting a PS3?

    I’ll tell you.

Yesterday I received my first PS3 Game from Amazon (that I ordered last week).

    Countdown to PS3?

    2 months.

  109. Posted on Mar 5, 2009

@Richard – You’ve never checked out our Sony section? Some of the games are cross-platform, but PS3 is still getting the love – ‘specially from Mr. Jamie Love!

    http://www.torontothumbs.com/sections/sony/

  110. Posted on Mar 5, 2009

@Richard – Really? I’m near certain that the first game I made sure we covered when I started at Thumbs was a PS3 exclusive, which we then engaged through a promotion and several gaming forums.

Coverage is a 24/7 concern to me, and is always an issue of reader interest, studio support, and journalistic diligence mind you – so if anyone has coverage concerns I encourage them to email us.

  111. By Richard
    Posted on Mar 9, 2009

@Shaun – I have checked out your Sony section, and it is bleak in comparison to the Xbox or even Wii sections!

Now, I know it’s not that big a deal, and I’m not counting the number of articles for each, but I just think you guys have an awesome website here and you’re one of the few sites I can visit that proudly comes across as a Canadian news outlet, so I’d love to see as much coverage from you guys as possible across all the platforms!

  112. Posted on Mar 9, 2009

@Richard – We’re workin’ on it! Thanks for your continued readership :)

  113. @Richard – We also value the opinions of our readers. Thanks for speaking out about your concerns! You know, we try our best to be the best. That results in us raising the bar for ourselves continuously. It’s like, we’re Baron Munchausen lifting ourselves out of the ocean with our own hair.

  123. Posted on Mar 18, 2009

You should – and be sure to take lots of gaming photos, too!

  124. We are totally taking pictures of the next game day.

Speaking of which, it is a HUGE possibility that I will have my rear speakers working as well as my PS3 by that point. AW YEAH.

  125. Posted on Mar 20, 2009

    Very nice!

Chrissy, you need to send those photos to the group pool!

  126. Posted on Mar 20, 2009

Hmmm… When I’m signed it it says they are in the pool, when I sign out they’re invisible conundrum!

Well I gave in to temptation, my friend convinced me to go see Watchmen the other night, and for a movie I had no interest in and no real knowledge of, it was an incredible movie… I now have an urge to get deep into the graphic novels and get all the history behind the series. :D

  128. @Alex – Do you have the urge to put on a mask and hat? Do you have the urge to find the TRUTH?

  129. By Alex
    Posted on Mar 31, 2009

Absolutely, I also have a strong urge to walk around all naked and stuff and speak in a very humble manner.

  130. But do you have a large, blue member?

If you don’t, you can always borrow mine. I’m not using it at the moment.

  131. Posted on Apr 5, 2009

I still have the plants vs. zombies song stuck in my head!

  132. Posted on Apr 7, 2009

Anyone here get a DSi yet? Come on, it’s been out a whole three days now!

    Posted on Apr 7, 2009

Believe me Shaun if I could afford one now I would have one!

  134. Posted on Apr 7, 2009

Very interesting that Nintendo chose to release a system in the middle of our generation’s depression.

  135. Posted on Apr 7, 2009

@Shaun – and so we see it’s just as much about expansion into new markets as it is resale in existing ones. Especially when checking the specs under that tiny hood.

  136. Posted on Apr 10, 2009

Over at NextGenPlayer, they’ve posted about some sweet deals at EB. I know, using the word “deal” and EB in the same sentence is a little weird for me, too: Clicky!

  137. By Alex
    Posted on Apr 10, 2009

Not to shabby, I like the 2 for 20$,30$,40$… with EB I always love scouting out new locations because you never know what used gem will be hiding there.

  138. Posted on Apr 10, 2009

Mass Effect is a hell of a deal. I’d buy it if I didn’t already own it.

On that topic, anyone willing to share their favourite spots for used games? I’m sick of leaving my local EB empty handed..

  140. Posted on Apr 16, 2009

Great question! I somewhat loathe EB/GameStop and prefer to take what little game spending money I have to indie shops. My two favourite spots are We Got Games in Shopper’s World, Brampton, and 1-Up Games in Hamilton. There are two locations, so check their site for details: http://1upgames.ca/

At both these stores, the employees are friendly and know a lot about games – both past and present.

Woah woah woah, back it up! Beep. Beep. Friendly AND knowledgeable staff?! And you say they sell games there… like the video kind? Riiiight, and the United States of America has a black President!

Thanks for the info and the link Shaun.

Alright, seems everyone hates ye ole’ EB! What did it for you guys?

  142. Posted on Apr 16, 2009

For me, it was their policy of selling opened games as new and their horrible trade-in values. Also, sadly some bad employees. I’ve met some cool ones, but the ones who stunk kinda ruin the whole vibe of the store.

  143. Posted on Apr 17, 2009

I am loving the new video inlay on the site :) fancy!

  144. Posted on Apr 17, 2009

Thanks! We’re constantly working on integrating new features of various degrees of zazz on the site. Nice of you to notice!

  145. Yeah, I’ve dealt with good EB Games staff and bad. But it really bothers me how big the difference is between what they offer vs. what they sell for on their trade-in games.

  146. By Kighall
    Posted on Apr 17, 2009

Agreed, I’ve always gotten a kick out of their trade-in “deals.” It seems the depreciation on games bought at EB is worse than buying a new car. The whole process would be less painful if they just slapped each customer that came up to the counter with a new game :P

“So… I bought this game new for $60, saw it on your used shelf two months later selling for $20… but you’ll give me a whole Toonie for it today? SOLD!”

Hahah at least that’s how it felt.

  147. Posted on Apr 17, 2009

This is part of the reason why I never trade in any games, and also why I have run out of room on my games shelf.

  148. By Alex
    Posted on Apr 18, 2009

Yes my shelf is also at max compacity… I’d say close to 200 games and still growing. Last thing I traded was Animal Crossing on the DS and I got 25$ for it which I didnt think was too bad.

  149. Posted on Apr 18, 2009

Trade in values also depend on what games EB has on their ‘most wanted list’.

Also I chatted with a staff member one day when I was looking through PSone games. And he told me if you’re looking for anything rare odds are you won’t find it at an EB because the staff to grab them first. They even check the inventory of other stores to get it sent to their location so they can buy it.
I guess I can understand but it severely lowers my odds of finding a decent gamecube memory card.

  150. By Kighall
    Posted on Apr 19, 2009

That is discouraging to hear, but understandable in most retail stores. Actually I believe my local EB didn’t even have a section for PSone games last time I visited.

Last game I traded in was Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles. Beautiful game, but after finishing it alone (that was a chore if you recall the whole chalice feature!) and not having the 3 friends with GBAs, I wasn’t able to enjoy that game fully.

  151. By Alex
    Posted on Apr 21, 2009

I lucked out once and scored Xenogears at EB for 5$, it was pretty much mint condition too. I’ve also just recently seen Final Fantasy Tactics for 10$ but it was more or less just the disc.

  152. I bought Soul Calibur 4 from EB recently. The NEW one was actually cheaper than a USED one.

    Thanks, EB!

  153. Posted on Apr 21, 2009

Last time Jamie and I were at EB Mirror’s edge on the PS3 was $24 new and the used one was $22… go figure.

I had a similar thing happen at EB where they had a deal on New copies of Trauma Center for the Wii, and the salesperson tried to sell me a used copy to save money and I said no thanks because the wrapped copy is cheaper and he rang it through and said “I guess you’re right”. Hehe

  154. I’m convinced that if you read your receipt, there will be a hidden message that says “Please, for the love of God, save us! We can’t LEAVE!”

And you will know who sent it when next you go to EB and the sales person looks up at you hopefully and motions ever so subtly (because there are cameras watching) at their ankle where you will see the telltale glow of an ankle restraint/tracking system.

You know what Jorge, that actually happened to me once! Unfortunately I didn’t have any extra room in my backpack… I mean the guy was like 6’11” and easily 200 pounds. The two just weren’t compatible! I promised i’d help him the next time… but I never saw that guy again.

Oh well I’m sure he just got a new job. Hahah… ha… heh… hmmmm

  156. Posted on Apr 25, 2009

The last time I went to EB a clerk tried to tell me that the Mad Catz FightStick for Street Fighter IV was actually made by Capcom and that Mad Catz only made the FightPad. He also insisted that there was only one style of said FightStick.

  157. Posted on Apr 25, 2009

Oh and on the topic of Naruto, do we really need a Naruto game for every single episode of the anime?

    ;)

  158. By Alex
    Posted on Apr 25, 2009

No probably not, mind you I have a biased view on Naruto because I never jumped on the bandwagon and dont intend to… Please dont disembowel me for it lol

  159. Posted on Apr 25, 2009

@Alex – bro, there’s a secret thumbs resistance dedicated to bringing an end to Naruto’s reign of terror. We meet Friday’s beneath where the podcast is tapped. Bring Cake.

  160. By Alex
    Posted on Apr 26, 2009

    Viva la resistance!

  161. The cake is a lie!

You will also need to stop telling me where the meetings are, because that just never goes over well for your cause.

And Shaun, there NEEDS to be at least one game per episode because it really is that awesome.

  162. By Kighall
    Posted on Apr 27, 2009

But Naruto takes 200 episodes to tell one games worth of plot! :P

  163. I believe that Kighall and Shaun have discovered some sort of paradox.

    1) There is a Naruto Game for every episode of the anime.

    2) It takes 200 episodes of the anime to tell the plot of one Naruto game.

  164. Posted on Apr 28, 2009

I’m moving tomorrow so all my systems are packed up, I have such itchy fingers to play a game!

  165. Don’t you have a portable system?

  166. Posted on Apr 30, 2009

I do, but they were all packed too. But now I’m moved so everything is out again yay!

  167. By Kighall
    Posted on May 2, 2009

Keep all gaming systems away from the Naruto paradox please! We don’t want another accident like the Gizmodo.

So Chrissy, once you got moved in and unpacked what was the first game you played?

  168. If you say Naruto, I will back you up in your war against aliens and zombies forever.

  169. Posted on May 4, 2009

Of all things Kighall it was Pharoah on the PC haha that game is so outdated, and yet I still love it.
My room is still a disaster from unpacking so I haven’t set anything up yet.

  170. I love that game too.
I don’t know what happened to my copy of it though.
    :(

Crikey! That’s like me playing Monkey Island when I’ve moved into a new apartment. Nothing like nostalgia to make one feel at home. Although… last time I had to vent some frustration by hooking up the PS2 first and playing Shadow of the Colossus :P

  172. Posted on May 9, 2009

Last time I moved, the game I was attached to was Mario Kart Wii. Previous move it was Resident Evil 4 for GameCube, in an empty apartment save for the TV/stereo set-up and one coffee table.

  173. Sadly, were I to tell you what game I played first when I moved to my current location you would all laugh heartily and throw danishes at me.

So instead, I will tell you that the first game I played on my PC was Battle for Middle Earth II.

  174. Posted on May 10, 2009

Awww now I wanna know Jorge!

  175. Posted on May 10, 2009

I’m going to guess that it was a Naruto game.

  176. Posted on May 11, 2009

Hahahaha You’re probably right Shaun but I feel he would’ve said we could guess the game not throw danishes if it was.
Throwing Danishes is a game like… Catz or Pony Friends… crap I own that…

  177. Posted on May 11, 2009

Maybe he’s talking about throwing a Danish person – like Reay.

  178. DANISH FIGHT!

    C’mere Reay…
