Hands-On with Nintendo’s E3 Line Ups

This past E3 saw each of the “big three” firing on all six cylinders to impress upon gamers that the best is yet to come; but Nintendo’s showing was particularly successful at changing the Wii U’s prognosis from more cynical gamers (enough that a poll of IGN’s readers showed the majority rated Nintendo as “winning E3″).

Nintendo recently invited Toronto Thumbs and other Canadian outlets to a post-E3 demo session, where multiple kiosks were available to showcase the big hitters coming this holiday season and beyond for Wii U and 3DS.

Part 2 – Final Games and Wrapping Up

Part 1 – Sony

Malcolm’s last day at E3 was just as eventful as the previous days. In this post, he recounts his experience at the Sony booth. -ed.

I was on the home stretch of E3; so far it had been an exhausting, but fun trip. Work hard and play hard – late nights with publisher and media parties and early mornings with a fully-packed schedule for the day. On the last day, I had a solid block set aside to spend time at the Sony booth to check out all of the great things that I had heard about from their press briefing.

Part 2 – Grey Box

Later that day I had a stopped off at the Grey Box meeting room for some hands on with two upcoming PC titles that they will be publishing: Dreadnought by Yager and Grey Goo by Petroglyph.
