EVENT: FITC Toronto 2008
By Shaun Hatton - March 25th, 2008![]()
FITC is entering its seventh year.
This year, FITC Toronto is encouraging its participants to break away from the norm and explore new ideas and concepts which will push the boundaries of technology and design. Each year the design and technology festival gets bigger and better, and this year is looking to be shaping up to continue that trend.
The event is an opportunity for creative types to get together to hear from other top designers and developers and share their stories and insights on the creative process, technical development, and business.
Another interesting facet of this year’s event is the new “Get a Job Event,” which takes plays April 19 at the Toronto Hilton and is open to the general public. Best of all, it’s free to attend. It never hurts to put yourself out there and see what the market is like. For any developers and other creative new media types interested in attending the full event, you can use the following code to get 10% off the price of a delegate pass: TOTHUMBS24. Check out the FITC website for more information on this year’s event, including a list of speakers and presentations.
